The Helix ETFE Skylight

EmQuartier is one of Bangkok’s most notable retail complexes, located next to Phrom Phong BTS Station on the Sukhumvit Line. Designed by Leeser Architecture, the development is divided into three distinctive zones: the Helix Quartier, Waterfall Quartier, and Glass Quartier.

Combine openness with climate comfort

Beyond the skylight, additional ETFE canopies connect different parts of the mall with covered linkways. These lightweight structures provide weather protection while maintaining an elegant, organic character that matches the architecture of the complex.

EmQuartier shows how ETFE can transform commercial architecture, offering light-filled interiors, shading where it’s needed, and slim, efficient supporting structures.
